Artist Bio
Brett Gilbert began his art career in an unusual way, while doing stand up comedy. When touring the country, he started painting between gigs. He originally achieved notoriety from his Pop Art series Cereal Boxes & Board Games, with Sharon Osborne among the collectors. Since then, Brett has embraced the Pop Surrealist movement. Three of his works were recently featured in a group show for Juxtapoz magazine. Look for his new series Robots, Teddy Bears, Bunnies, Little Girls & Skulls in late 2008.
